He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Chancellor; and his siblings, Guy Chancellor, Doris Ellis and Rosa Lee Boykin. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Chancellor; his sons, Kit Chancellor (Tanja) and Joe Chancellor (Tammy); his grandchildren, Tiffany Goodin (Jake), Haylee Pufahl (Jonathan), Josh Chancellor (Jodi) and Jacob Chancellor (Sydney); and his great grandchildren, Hadley Goodin, Kimber, Josie Kate Chancellor and Chance Pufahl.
