He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond Oglesby and Sadie Prince Oglesby (Prince); his stepmother Lottie Oglesby; his brothers, James W. "Billy" Oglesby and William Guinn Oglesby; and his stepbrother James Oliver Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Oglesby; his children, Suzanne Freeman (Randy), Angela Williams (Tommy), Robin Garriga (Ron), Vicki Hamrick and Ronnie Hamrick (Marsha); his grandchildren, Amy Hillman (Caleb), Shelby Carpenter (Jeff), Lauren Stokes (Wes), Leah Williams and Jared Hamrick (Madison); his great grandchildren, Nathan Cooley, Liza Hillman, Georgia Stokes, Peyton Carpenter, Denver Stokes, Addy Byrd and Easton Byrd; his brother Ray Oglesby; his stepbrother B. J. Barton; and his sister Lois Smith (Jimmy).
