She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Headstart; her children, Gregory Dubose of Meridian, Vanessa Dubose of Meridian, Michelle Dubose of Clifton, NJ and Melissa Dubose Gale (Kenneth) of Meridian; and her siblings, Dewey McDade, Jr of Meridian, Carolyn Sue McDade of Meridian, Letha Jane Dunn of Meridian, Pamela Joyce Carter of Meridian and Felicia Pace of Meridian. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dubose, 84, passed on January 7, 2020 at Rush Foundation Hospital.
