It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Leroy Patton of Enid, Mississippi, born in Cleveland, Mississippi, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Vernon and Lillian Bernadine Ellis Patton; and his siblings, Martha Ann Akers, Jane Peacock, Thomas Patton and Edward Patton.
He is survived by: his significant other Doris Burr Patton of Enid; his daughters, Sharon Higginbotham (Shane) of Benton, AR, Karon Brechbiel (Bill) of Ocean Springs, Tammy Weldon (Jeremy) of Batesville and Donna Fullilove (Heath) of Batesville; and his brother Jerry Patton (Sharon) of Columbia, IL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
