It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woodie R. Anderson (Ellisville, Mississippi), who passed away on February 20, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Anderson; his son Malcolm West; his parents, Jake Anderson and Stella Anderson; and his siblings, John Anderson and Carolyn Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Anderson of Ellisville; his children, Ann Anderson of Soso, Diane Cherry (Hugh) of Waynesboro, Brenda Hopkins (Todd) of Ellisville and Maynard West (Lora) of Collins; his siblings, Paul Anderson (Joyce), Earl Anderson (Norma), Dorothy Montague, Sybil Bounds (Nelson) and Cheryl Speed (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Brandi Purvis, Jessica Tisdale, Dianna Blackledge, Austin Cherry, Chance Cherry, Daniel Hopkins, Jayden Barnett and Lucas West; and his great grandchildren, Bella, Caleb, Kadien Purvis, Chase, Emily, Charlotte Blackladge, Lexie Cherry, Rowyn Cherry and Lexis Tisdale. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
