He was predeceased by: his former wife Patsy Blackwell Watkins; his father Ernest Watkins; and his siblings, Orell Watkins, Walton Watkins and Elvira Cronic.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Butler Watkins of Ellisville; and his children, Deborah Lawton (Bob) of Ohio, Jacquelyn Sergi (Bob), Stanley Watkins (Sylvia) of Ellisville, Alvin Watkins (Sue) of Ellisville and David Butler (Beverly) of Ellisville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren.
