She was predeceased by: her husband Major Darroll Jefcoat; her parents, Warren Ellzey (Dora Graves) and Sister Hazel Ellzey (Webber); and her siblings-in-law, Dale B. Jefcoat and Bettye Jefcoat.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Stringer (Wendell) and Tim Jefcoat (Regina); her grandchildren, Justin Stringer (Kerry), Ashli Wolf (David), Wendy Slay (Junior) and Jessica Guy (Rick); her great grandchildren, Webb Slay, Linton Slay, Carter Slay, Dalton Slay, Joseph Wolf, Finn Stringer, Ava Wolf, Shieann Slay, Ollie Stringer, Faith Guy and Jacy Guy; her siblings-in-law, Diane Lamb and Dr. Douglas Jefcoat (Cheryl); her niece Linda Walters (John); and her caregiver Latresa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
