Though Ruth Bullock may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth Bullock touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Myrtis Buchanan Bullock of Ellisville, MS.; her siblings, Helen Pearl Bland and Hubert Carl Bullock, Jr.; and her daughter Lillian Ruth Gatlin. She is survived by: her father Hubert Carl Bullock; her grandchildren, Melody Holifield and James Taylor Gatlin (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Amelie, Skylar and R. B. Holifield. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ellisville Cemetery.
