He was predeceased by: his parent William; and his grandson Isaiah Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Mary F. Bush Abbey; his children, Candace Pitts (Anthony), Gray Abbey (Courtney), Krisha Yelverton (Eric) and Dana Reynolds (Randy); his grandchildren, Richard Pitts, Michael Pitts, Mark Pitts, Casey William Yelverton, Jake Abbey, Tasha Reynolds and Shane Reynolds; and his close friends, Larry Loftin, Gary Norsworthy and Keith Sumrall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
