She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Louis Walters; her parents, William Peter and Mae Byrd Reeves; and her grandson Jeremy Walters. She is survived by: her son Bobby Walters'; her sister Totsie Maples; and her sons, Robert Lavelle "Bobby" Walters, James Melvin (Judy Walters), William Gary (Nikki Walters) and Eddie Kenneth (Darlene Walters). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
