She was predeceased by: her husband Harold L. Pitts; her parents, Aaron Ira Welch and Mary Lucinda Dykes Welch; her siblings, Bertha Mae Hill, Maybra Jefcoat, Martha Faye Easterling, Cliff Welch and Jake Welch; her grandson Lee Thomas Holifield; and her grandson-in-law Jeff Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hilbun (Larry) of Ellisville and Lanell Holifield (Larry) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Robin Robinson, Ryan Hilbun (Lauren), Ron Hilbun (Christy), Kim Holifield and Kacey Holifield; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Robinson (Paige), Abby Hilbun, Maggie Hilbun and John Ryan Hilbun. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
