He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene Mosley Carter; his parents, Leroy Carter and Margaret Carter; and his brother Mack Carter. He is survived by: his children, Scott Carter (Lisa), Jeffrey Carter (Felicia) and Melissa Carter Grunig (Brad); his grandchildren, Costanza, Christopher Hensley, Austin Carter, Joshua Carter, Jessica Rigdon, Shelby Grunig, Jaxson Grunig and Ross Grunig; and his siblings, Don Carter (Joann) and Carolyn Carter. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
