He is survived by: his wife Sandra Williamson Scruggs; his sisters, Mary Joann Knight (John) and Debbie Townsend (Gary); his niece Beverly Patterson; and his nephews, Roger Sanford (Sylvia), Johnny Rowell (Debbie), Ronnie Sanford (Tessa) and Randy Sanford (Lisa).
