It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine T. Smith of Ellisville, Mississippi, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John O. Smith; and her mother Louvie Peterson Peterson (Betty McInerney). She is survived by: her children, Johnny Smith (Ami), Mark Smith (Sabrina), Michelle Thomas (Allison) and Lisa Brewer (James); her grandchildren, Wesley Thomas (Tiffany), Toni Busby (Matt), Colby Smith (Heather), Jada Hinton (Kel), Brody Smith, Katie Smith (Josh), J. Brewer (Gabby), Tyler Havard, Jacob Brewer and Ragen Smith; and her siblings, Jimmy Knight (Helen) and Bernie Williams. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellisville Funeral Home (1204 B Avenue, Ellisville, MS 39437). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
