We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2021, at the age of 81, John Thomas Hanna of Ellisville, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Gwennette Hanna; his parents, James Bradley and Ethel OraNel Hanna; and his brothers, James Bradley Hanna, Jr. and Don Lindsey Hanna.

He is survived by: his children, Deanna Hanna, Brian Hanna and Stephanie Smith (Clayton); his grandchildren, Hannah Smith Monday (Kris), Bradley Smith (Kelli), Mary Kathryn Hanna, John Isaac Hanna, Meagan Elizabeth Hanna and Preston Smith; his great grandchildren, Clayton Lewis Monday, Iva Renee Monday and Bentley Thomas Smith; his siblings, Preston Hanna (Jeannette) and Sarah Francis Campbell; his sister-in-law Beverly Kirkland (Joe); and his close friend Marilyn Kelly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
