He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Watson Hembree and Hattie Yelverton Hembree; his former wife Ruby Lee; his daughter Judy Probert; and his grandchildren, Tabetha Quates and Ryan Spradley.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Fountain, Barbara Spradley, Marsha Davis and Jim Hembree; and his wife Linda Walters Hembree. He is also survived by 6 children, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
