She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Hill and Ethel Hill; her brothers, Sidney Hill, Jr. and Medwell "Bid" Hill; and her granddaughter Heather Weber.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Hurshell Jones of Ellisville; her children, Charles H. Jones, Jr. (Angela) of Ridgeland, Timothy Jones (Julie) of Sweetwater, Pamela Jones (Luigi Zaninelli) of Hattiesburg, Stan Jones (Nina) of Henderson and Gene Jones (Debra) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Alex Morgan (Calvin), Gabe Jones, Olivia Jones, Josh Weber (Christy), Gian Luigi Zaninelli, Tyler Jones, Thomas Jones, Emma Jones and Jack Jones; and her brothers, Donald Hill, Samuel Hill, Jimmy Hill and Mack Dell Hill. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the JCJC Foundation, INC. at 900 South Court Street, Ellisville, MS 39437 in Memory of Hazel to South MS Charity Scholarship Fund.
