She was predeceased by: her husband Dick Smith; her parents, Benjamin Shoultz and Virtous Shoultz; her siblings, Larkin Shoultz, Johnny Shoultz, Arthur Shoultz and Estelle Whigham; and her granddaughter Megan Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Denvil Smith and John Smith (Dana); her grandchildren, Logan Smith, Lundyn Smith and Lauren Bourne (Travis); her great grandchildren, Lander Smith, Olivia Bourne and Emma Bourne; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Weems (Laura), Cole Tolbert, Clay Tolbert, William Weems, Brenda Mosley (Bill), Melissa Tolbert (Ronnie), Ella Weems, Elizabeth Weems and Cora Weems.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made in her name to Gideons International.
