She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Cockrell and Effie Cockrell; her husband John Beasley; her daughter Debra Warren; her husbands, Rufus Hataway (Buddy) and Kenneth Ferrell; and her siblings, Billy Cockrell and Diane Myers.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Hataway, David Hataway (Sonya) and Michael Hataway (Georgia); and her brother Clyde Cockerell. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
