It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Cooley (Ellisville, Mississippi), born in Scott, Mississippi, who passed away on January 27, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Cooley Sr (D. C.); her son Daniel Cooley, Jr. (Danny); her parents, Lum Jacobs, Sr. and Lou Emma Jacobs; and her siblings, Mamie, Flora, Bertha, Ruby, Lavert, Mayfield, Walter, Amos and Lum Jr..
She is survived by: her brother Larry G. Jacobs; her children, Gail C Williams (David), Michael Cooley (Debbie), Terry Cooley (Linda) and Jerry Cooley (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Shannon Hill (Angel), Shane Cooley (Crystal), Jacob Cooley (Katie), Justin Cooley (Jenna), Heather Taylor (Rodney), Jennifer Allday (Ben), Amber Welch (Chris), Shane Barlow (Amber), Heath Barlow (Ashley), LaDonna Tisdale (Tim) and Kevin Cooley; and her sisters-in-law, Lillie Pearl Jacobs and Virginia Gainous (Curley). She is also survived by her children and grandchildren even down to the smallest great-great grandchild.
