She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Nelson; and her grandchildren, Dylan Botts and David Botts, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lori Nelson and Pamela Nelson; her mother-in-law Mary Lorene Nelson of Ellisville, MS; her sisters, Charlotte Nelson of Ellisville, MS and Judy Chastain of Indianapolis, IN; her children, Tommy Nelson, Jr. of Vivian, OK, William Nelson of Vivian, OK, Jerry Nelson of Vivian, OK, Lori Davis of Hot Coffee, MS and Pamela Botts of Arlington, TX; and her grandchildren, Michael Nelson, Jonathan Nelson, Victoria Freeman, Owen Freeman, Floyd Botts, Danny Botts, Bailey Nelson, Dakota Davis, Destiny Davis and Deidra Davis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives; as well as a host of friends.
