It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Leon Martin of Edwards, Mississippi, born in Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Prentiss and Mamie Tucker Smith; his siblings, William Earl Martin (Merle), Dallas Wayne Martin and Mary Alice Hood; and his son Dale Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Donnie Covey Martin; his children, Larry L. Martin (late Angela) of Edwards, Earnest L. Martin (Sandra) of Edwards, Kenneth Martin (Melissa) of Gluckstadt, Donna Martin (Chuck) of Edwards and Charlotte Upchurch (Roger) of Edwards; his adoptive son Frank Coizzo; and his sister Patricia Ann Whitley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
