He was predeceased by: his wife Terry Brantley; and his daughter Chatty Dunnaway. He is survived by: his granddaughter Mary Ellen Dunnaway; his siblings, Minnie Bell Rhoden and Mack Brantley; his nieces, Amie Clark and Ashland Clark; and also, Jesse "Yankee" Dupree and Amanda Evans.
