He was predeceased by: his wife Velma Roby; his parents, Johnny Roby and Essie Haynes; and his daughter Ruby Roby Avery. He is survived by: his son Clayton Roby of Durant, MS; his siblings-in-law, Earline Burns Luckett of Camden, MS and Joe Roby of Goodman, MS; and his grandsons, Curtis Williams of Richland, MS, Jeremy Williams of Jackson, MS, Ferdalle Williams of Memphis, TN, Aaron Phinisee and Clayton Roby, Jr. of Durant, MS. He is also survived by great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
