Though Emma Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emma Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Lenard and Vera Lorette Chism Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Jean Smithey, Glenda Wilbanks (Bill) and Billy Don Smithey; her grandchildren, Tonya Edwards, Jessica Edwards, Christopher Edwards, Keith Knowles and Matthew Knowles; and her husband Billy Joe Smithey. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and (5) great-great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
