He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Kirk and Donnie Jones Kirk; his wife Velma Bernice Keyes Kirk; and his brother Charles Kirk. He is survived by: his son Kenneth Kirk; his stepchildren, Cheryl Berryhill Johnson and Kevin Berryhill (Lindia); and his granddaughter Lindsey Leigh Berryhill.
