Lavelle Amason Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2021, Lavelle Amason of Duck Hill, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, W. D. Amason and Lanah Mae Canoy Amason; and his sister Evelyn Kendall. He is survived by: his wife Betty Irby Amason of Duck Hill; his sons, Walter Amason (Chris) of Winona, Michael Amason of Vaiden and Glenn Amason (Judy) of Duck Hill; his siblings, Jewel Kirksey (Billy) of Brandon, Elizabeth Errington of Pearl, Gwen Weeks of Shaw, J. D. Amason (Clara) of Clyde, NC and Jimmy Dale Amason; and his grandchildren, Greenwood and Arnold Amason (Barbara) of Mize. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
