He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer David Morris, Sr. and Edna Vera Chandler Morris; his son Wendell Morris; and his siblings, Charles Morris, Homer Morris, Jr., Bobby Morris, Billy Morris and Juanita Logan.
He is survived by: his wife Cora Lee Griffin Morris of Drew, MS; his children, Joel Morris (Donna "Lynn") of Parks Bayou, MS, Ricky Morris of Parks Bayou, MS, Danny Herring (Fran) of Ruleville, MS, Joe "Poncho" Morris, Jr. (Glenda) of Drew, MS, Cindy Horton (Bo) of Ruleville, MS and Kim Morris of Parks Bayou, MS; and his sister Ella Mae Wagner of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
