He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Monroe Ray, Sr. and Mary Jane Husky Ray; his wife Patsy Card Ray; and his brothers, Ricky Ray, Tommy Ray, Micky Ray, Eddie Ray and Jerry Ray.
He is survived by: his son Evan Ray (Brittany) of Hattiesburg, MS; his grandchildren, Daniel Martin, Jr., Makayla Preston, Taci Glidden and Lincoln Ray; and his siblings, Roger Ray, Michael Ray, Steve Ray, Tracy Ray, Jamie Ray, Adam Ray, Joann Salazar, Debbie Ray, Mary Etheridge, Nancy Jones and Rita Veal.
