He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fountain and Irene Fountain (Fortner) of D'Iberville, MS.; his brothers, George Fountain, Willie Fountain and Alan Fountain; his godparents, Sidney Fountain and Beverly Quave; and his nephew Jason Fountain.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Fountain (Monk); his children, Lonnie Dale Fountain Jr. (Dawn), Robert "Troy" Fountain Sr. (Darlene), Cheryl Ann (Fountain) and Messing (Dan); his grandchildren, Lonnie Fountain III (Savannah), Jordan Fountain (Jessica), Ashley Woodard (Kendall), Courtney Fiveash (Anthony), Breanna Delagrave (Casey), Jonathan Fountain (Emily) of Robert and Fountain Jr.; his great grandchildren, Meya, Jenny, Jaelee, Julianna, Layne, Brantley, Grant, Jaecie, Jaxon, Carson, Thomas, Carleigh and Braelynn; his godson Steve Tapper; his brothers, David Fountain, Colin Fountain (Lisa) and Carey Fountain; and his pet Missy.
