With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jaunita Loretta Phillips in Diberville, Mississippi, born in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Krohn and Eva Krohn (Seymour); her husband J. W. Phillips; her children, Valerie Renee Phillips and John Wilson Phillips; and her siblings, Hurley Krohn, Lloyd Krohn and Eula King (Krohn).
She is survived by: her sister Kathryn Krohn Tootle Lutz; her daughters, Karen Webb (Michael) of Vancleave, Rhonda Rushing (Randall) of Vancleave and Angela Peltier (Brian) of Wasilla, Alaska; her grandchildren, Raina Rushing-Collinet, Michael J. Webb, Patrick Webb, Randall Rushing II, Dara Peltier Hobbs, Danielle Peltier, John, Dustin and Camryn Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Rose, Scarlett, Hazel Rushing, Myrabelle Peltier, Fisher, Sailor Hobbs, Braylen, Zachary, Caroline, Katie Grace Webb, Olivia and Harper Phillips.
The family prefers memorials be made to St. Jude Research Hospital.
