He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Letort and Vonceil Letort. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Ryan Letort of West Biloxi and Cullen Letort (Tara) of Metairie, LA; his grandsons, Eli and Asher of Metairie, LA; his siblings, Kim Letort (Joanna) of St. Martin and Penny Sorrells (Donnie) of Slidell, LA; and his former wife Nancy Ryan Letort of St. Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
