He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alvin and Willie May Franklin; and his siblings, Marie Brown, James William Franklin, Pearl of Washington, Alvin Franklin Jr., L. V. Franklin, Morris Franklin, Terry Franklin and Charles Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley Franklin of D'Iberville, MS, Diana, Dean Jackson of Hamburg, NY and Brandon Franklin of D'Iberville, MS; his grandchildren, Stone Jackson of Hamburg, NY and Rylee Jackson of Hamburg, NY; his sisters, Maline Harrison of Port Richey, FL and Shirley Eastman of Sarepta, MS; and his sister-in-law Minnie Franklin of Pittsboro, MS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
