He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudette D. Parker and Gene Parker Sr.; his brother Larry H. Derouen; and his grandparents, Norman, Hazel Parker, Beatrice Fountain and Ellis Delahoussaye.
He is survived by: his daughter Cassidy Sherwood; his grandchildren, Persahes, Rohnan and Daisy; his brothers, Lenny Derouen and Lee Parker (Sylina); and his nephews, Larry H. Derouen Jr. and Luke H. Derouen. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
