He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Stiger and Eleanor Stiger; his brother Marlowe Stiger (Jessica Aikey); and his friends, Galen Lechler (Smokey) and Carol Lohman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sandra Aikey (David) of Trout Run, PA, Steve Stiger (Sandra) of Williamsport, PA, Sharon Stiger of Diamondhead, MS and Scott Stiger (Renee) of Pass Christian, MS; and his friends, Barbara Lechler (Pudge) and James Lohman. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
