She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Ray Bate and Hilda Marie Bate; and her son Lance Dean Miller. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence V. Boyd; her son Alton A. Miller, Jr. (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Travis Miller (Courtney), Kelly Gunn (Alex), Nicole Floyd and Matthew Floyd (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Hallie Waldrop, Haygan Floyd and Ruston Waldrop.
