We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, Major Richard H. Brown of Diamondhead, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Brown and Leona Brown; his former wives, Sharon and Marian; his stepdaughter Caroline; his grandson Michael; and his stepgrandchildren, Billy, Reece and Scottlyn.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Yaniga of Diamondhead; his children, Kelly Springer of Kansas City, MO and Kristin Albert (Jerry) of The Villages, FL; his stepchildren, Virginia Cobell (Bruce) of Waveland, MS, Georgia Huelsman (Bobby) of Freeburg, IL, James Brennan, Jr. (Lori) of Ocean Springs, MS, Marilyn Hensley (Brian) of Madison, MS, Rhonda Rhodes (Rocky), Bay St, Tracie Maloney (Adam) of Atlanta, GA, Aimee Saucier (Joel) of Pass Christian, MS and Chris Yaniga of Kiln, MS; and his brother Gary Brown of Belton, TX. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571). A Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
