He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lakota and Marianne Lakota (Gyorke); and his brother James Lakota. He is survived by: his wife Judy Lakota; his siblings, John Lakota (Darlene) and Arlene Meyer (Jim); his children, Cathy Basler (Brian) and Craig Lakota (Karla Bustamante); and his grandchildren, Erik, Jocelyn, Abby and Joseph.
