He was predeceased by: his stepson Steve; his parents, Nola Lillian Armstrong and Audie Lee Ladd; his brother Norman; and his stepsiblings, Sydney and Lucy Perry.
He is survived by: his close friend Phyllis Lilley; his children, Jenifer Rogers and Jimmy; and his stepson Keith Wenzel. He is also survived by parents and younger brother at their grandparents.
