He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Bond and Henry Aaron Allen; his wife Diane LaFrance; his daughter Mary Michaelean Allen; and his siblings, Junior Allen, Bob Allen, Jerry Allen, Juanita Hammons, Shirley Cuevas and Norma Jean Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Richie Allen (Amanda) and Georgeanne Badurak (Teddy); and his sister Alice Mae Lewis. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
