With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hiroko Howell of Diamondhead, Mississippi, who passed away on April 27, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Nae Toguchi; and her sister Yasuko Walsh. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Earl Howell; her daughters, Nancy Howell Brackin, Sandy Howell and Terry Howell Crawford; her son-in-law David Crawford; her siblings, Seikin Toguchi and Etsuko Toguchi; her grandchildren, James Brackin, Nicholas Brackin, Ryan Crawford and Garrett Crawford; and her great grandchildren, Claire Brackin, Cadence Brackin, Arya Brackin, Halo Crawford and Ace Crawford.

“I have fond memories of Hiroko "Judy" Howell when i was stationed at moody afb valdosta ga. I was friends with her daughter Sandy and served with CMSGT Ronald Howell. They were very nice to me and treated me like family. I still remember the Tbone steaks mrs. Howell would cook for me when i would visit. I think of their family often and miss Sandy to this day. I was very saddened to know she passed and my thoughts and prayers are with her family; she will be sorely missed. Michael Whidden”
