With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alphonse Joseph Lind Jr. of Diamondhead, Mississippi, born in Pass Christian, Mississippi, who passed away on October 25, 2023 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luvenia M. Lind, and Alphonse J. Lind, Sr.; and his sisters, Aline Gilbert, Gracie Allen, Vernette Rollison, Adelle Hayden and Betty Lind.
He is survived by: his son Alphonse J. Lind III; his nieces and nephews, Lindsey Lind Richard, Meghan Lind and Michael Lind (Felicia); his great-niece Mary Grace Lind; his siblings, Gloria Gilbert, Bernadette Jones and Michael Lind; and his goddaughter Dawn Luxich.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Marine Corp League in Diamondhead in honor of Alphonse.
