She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin C. McNair and Virgie Idell Parker McNair; her former husband Joe Allen Mitchell; her husband Braxton Clanton; and her siblings, Wanda Collins, Lanita Webb, Joyce Provine Parks, Parker Dean McNair and Jessie Clyde McNair.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Baker (Dennis) of Banner and Diane Gulledge (Stanley) of Calhoun City; her grandchildren, Jennifer Knight, Natalie Jones (Cary), Mitchell Gulledge and Kyle Gulledge (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Shelby Collins (Johnathan), Drew Knight, Wyatt Jones, Nora Gulledge and Alexander Gulledge; her great great grandchild Raylen Collins; and her niece Jan Mayhan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
But as the years progressed she turned to her favorite past time of playing a game of cards (Hands and Feet), until Covid and the quarantine.
