With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brandie Bumgart of Derma, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Rosa Lou Carr, Eddie Webber Carr and Clinton Lee Brown; her great-grandparent Lucille Cooper; her aunts, Amanda Phelps and Susan Crochett; and her uncle Douglas Earl Carr.

She is survived by: her parents, Glenn A. Phelps and Rose Carr Phelps; her husband John Bumgart; her children, Preston Gardener Phelps and Olivia Gardener Phelps; and her grandmother Rosie Mae Brown. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
