We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 79, Betty Lois Shankle of Derma, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Houston Tatum and Clara Belle Fowler Randolph; her husband A. C. Shankle; her brothers, Thomas Tatum and Buddy Tatum; and her sister-in-law Melba Tatum.

She is survived by: her sons, Albert "Bit" Shankle (Carla) of Houston and Mike Shankle of Derma; her brother James Tatum (Diane) of Nettleton; her sister-in-law Betty Tatum of Nettleton; her grandchildren, Brooke Shankle (Jacob Black), Blake Shankle (Crystal), Emmie Shankle, Cody Shankle and Will Shankle (Summer Threet); and her great grandchildren, Mallie Blayke Shankle, Carter Aguilar and Clair Wiegel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
