It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Wooten (Dennis, Mississippi), who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Jimmie Lee may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jimmie Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, W. D. Wooten, Nathan Wooten and Ann Nunley. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wooten of Dennis; his sons, Scotty Wooten (Lisa) of Dennis and Andy Wooten (Mickie) of Dennis; and his brothers, Larry Wooten (Linda) of Dennis and Donnie Wooten of Dennis. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
