She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Marcelle Palmer and Sallie Terry Palmer; and her brother Albert Lee Palmer. She is survived by: her husband Matt Taylor; and her children, Terri McClendon (Burl) of Austin, Jane DeGrood (Paul) of Buford, Georgia and Mike Taylor (Becky) of Brookhaven, Mississippi. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to French Camp Academy or Baptist Children's Village.
