She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Brown and Rosezalla Brown; and her siblings, Lonnie Brown, L. C. Brown, Rev. Charleston Brown, German Brown, Ezra Brown and Janie Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey Bennomon (Ronnie) of Meridian, MS, Olivia Brown of Porterville, MS and Tollas Brown (Tiffany) of Macon, MS; her sisters, Rosie Hopkins of Hattiesburg, MS, Susie Knight of Hattiesburg, MS, Hazel Shepard of Hattiesburg, MS and Aretha Mitchell (Haywood) of Macon, MS; and her sister-in-law Annie Ruth Brown. She is also survived by 13 grand children, 22 great grand children.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home-De Kalb (13554 Hwy 16 W, De Kalb, MS 39328). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah M. B. Church (3990 Magnolia Dr, Macon, MS 39341). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (251 Odd Fellows Cemetery Rd, Macon, MS 39341).
