He is survived by: his children, Vertonia McCune of Philadelphia and Johnny Rush of Dekalb; and his siblings, Martha Hammock of Dekalb, Ruby Sanders of Dekalb, Bessie Gale of Dekalb and Donell Sanders of Dekalb. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
