He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamil Millsaps and Minnie Lee Millsaps; his wife Katherine Ivy Millsaps; his daughter Angela Welch; his siblings, Jimmy Millsaps and Mary Ann Collins; his stepchildren, Jeff Poole and Teresa Ivy; and his granddaughter Abigal Welch.
He is survived by: his daughter Deneise Baker (Tony); his stepson Lester Poole; his siblings, Ruby Barker (Herbert), Johnny Millsaps (Jo), Jerry Millsaps (Earline) and Jessie Millsaps (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Key Ivy, William Reid, Michael Reid, Jon Reid, Cole Poole and Katie Burnside. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
